What was your first impression of the blook ?
I discovered the blooks during our gala dinner. It is an extremely well presented and high quality product. I was surprised by the concept of using paper as a way to gather social media posts! Being aware that these platforms are detached from the physical dimension. I thought it was very original ! I showed it to other members of our team as well to have their feedback.
“It’s very original to gather digital contents through the use of a book, which is a tool that emphasizes the “sharing” aspect.”
What type of feedback did you get from other people regarding the blook of “La Cité du Vin” ?
Most of the time the people who saw the blook had a similar reaction to mine. They thought that it was very original to gather digital contents through the use of a book, which is a tool that emphasizes the “sharing” aspect. The blooks extend the experience that you get on social media platforms. They also manage to highlight elements that fade away in the digital world.
Will you be creating other blooks ? If so, in what context could you use them ?
We will most likely opt for the creation of other blooks for “la Cité du Vin”. During fairs for example ! We could give them away to people who were included in the organisation of events ! like our teams or the science committee. It would be very interesting to offer it as a gift to our board of directors. Or to our partners and our collaborators. Personally I think that the blook is highly appropriate for an internal use. But it would be better to truly think about the right way to include blooks within our strategy ! Since it’s a multi-purpose tool.
