Born in Mostar, B&H, in 1971. Moved to London, UK, in 1992. Graduate of Westminster University with a CHE BA in Economics for Business. Veteran of the Greater London area hospitality industry. Ermin has been writing for 15 years and has been involved in the art world for over 30 years, first as an abstract painter and later as a casual contemporary artist. Short bio as author and artist: 1996-1999 Three years active as abstract painter and designer (having grown his collection of drawings in previous years), also explored art on different surfaces. Painted and used graffiti on lots of unfinished vases which he exhibited in an antique shop, Notting Hill 1998/99. 2022-2025 Three years active as author, mostly poet with an abstract flair (having previously collected poems for many years). Also designed prints on different surfaces and many photo books with his writings, photos and paintings, all while writing his books. Ermin Bašić published five books - a collection of poetry "ERMIN’S WAY” in 2023, a novella “FROM X TO X” in 2023/2024, then radio drama "THE BALLAD MOSTARIAN IN LONDON" in 2024 which contains English, Bosnian and French language versions included in this book. His fourth book is long love poem "BASHA ERMIN" in 2024, and it is written in English and Bosnian language. Ermin's the fifth and last book is photo book - a retrospective "ARTWORK INSIDE POEMS" in 2024. His books are available in Bosnian, English, French and German... Ermin's poem “Love for the day” was included among the best children’s poems for 2023 at the regional competition “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ermin has traveled to over 30 countries on five continents. His numerous trips have greatly inspired his poetry. He is a father of twin boys.
