Ad-Libbing’ Is a selection of the author’s narratives written and published on his website strachan.blog during summer 2021. Within these hallowed pages are a series of articles touching upon topics as diverse as Boris Johnson’s dog, life as the carer of a dementia sufferer, his ingrained insomnia and notions about the singer H from Steps. An amalgam of humour and darkness, the author’s words attempt to get to the heart of the human condition. A heart that Gary Strachan hopes is a good deal sturdier than his heart attack damaged cardio chamber.
