This is the second part of my first blog describing our journey from Ireland to Spain in search of a new home.
The first part describes how we left Ireland and travelled by car through Spain. We started in March 2017 and went back to Ireland in June to rent my cottage and also to spend a month in Canada, Vancouver Island, with Nigel's brother and family. At the end of August we returned to Spain hoping to buy a finca.
In this part we are working on an olive finca, which would finally become our new home.
The next blook will continue as a a diary of life on the finca, Casa Halcon, and how we try to learn and survive in this new country.
