In June 2015, Steve and Jackie spent two weeks on safari in Uganda on a tailor-made tour with a driver/guide. It was organised through Naturetrek Ltd. and they experienced the diversity and abundance of wildlife in the country's national parks. The highlight and key target was the extraordinary Shoebill, a bird that is the only member of its family but the hour that they spent with a family of Mountain Gorillas will also live long in their memories.
