Steve and Jackie's journey began with a flight to Santiago, Chile and continued, after a two day stay, to Easter Island. From there, they began an expedition cruise, operated by Noble Caledonia, which crossed the south pacific via the Pitcairns and several of the small islands of French Polynesia, to finish at Tahiti. Then they flew to South Australia and spent time on Kangaroo Island, visited Victor Harbor and stayed for a few days at a "Bird and Bushland Retreat". After a week with friends on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, they flew on to the Seychelles for a week on their much-loved, Bird Island, before returning to the UK.
